Traveling to New York – What about vaccination, children and the COVID-19 test?

Now everyone can travel to New York again. But as I continue to receive questions about the vaccine, travelling to New York with children and the COVID-19 test, in this blog, I answer all questions.

When can you travel to New York?

Everyone can board the plane and take a trip to New York.

When are you fully vaccinated?

According to the United States, you are fully vaccinated 2 weeks after your second dose of the Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covishield, BIBP/Sinopharm, Novavax, or Sinovac vaccine, after the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, or after any “mix-and-match” combination. Know that vaccination is no longer required for travel to New York.

Do I need a booster shot for New York?

While booster doses are recommended, they are not required for travel to New York. The COVID-19 vaccination has no validity period in the United States, so your proof of vaccination will not expire. However, you no longer need to show proof of vaccination for travel to the United States.

Do children have to be vaccinated?

Just like adults, children 17 years or younger do not need to be vaccinated to travel to the United States.

Do I have to take a COVID-19 test?

It is no longer necessary to show a negative test result before departure to New York.

Do I need to take a COVID-19 test to fly back?
