LaGuardia Airport to Manhattan Transfer

LaGuardia Airport to Manhattan transfer options are to either take a taxi, small shuttle bus or car service. LaGuardia Airport (LGA) is located in Queens, not far from Uptown Manhattan.

Taxi

From LaGuardia Airport, the taxi ride will cost between $20 to $40 plus toll and tip. There is no fixed price, also, if you are going from Manhattan to LaGuardia Airport, the fare depends on where in Manhattan you are departing from.

Shared Small Shuttle Buses

You can book a shuttle bus that brings you to your hotel or apartment. They cost $17 one way and are the best option if your don’t want to take a taxi. Book your seat on the shuttle bus before you go. You will get a voucher via email that you have to print out. You will find the shuttle buses outside the terminal.

Large Buses

NYC Airporter provides shuttle buses between Manhattan and LaGuardia Airport. The buses run every 20 to 30 minutes between 5:00 and 23:30. Tickets cost $15 one-way or $28 round-trip from LaGuardia Airport. Kids under 3 years old are free.

Private Car or Limousine

You can also be picked up by a town car or limousine (up to 5 people). If you’re travelling with a group from or to LaGuardia Airport, this is a great alternative to a taxi or shuttle bus and most of the time it’s cheaper too. Prices start at $17 per person.

Erics Tip: I would recommend taking a taxi to and from LGA Airport, it’s just the easiest way. The small or the large buses are also a good option but take longer. Don’t try to take public transportation, it’s just not worth all the hassle.
